  • Revival Christian Fellowship has been my home since 2002. This church is a Calvary Chapel, they just changed the name to Revival. This is a Bible teaching church that focuses on theology and Expository preaching of the scriptures. It is a very large church, but they offer several ministries and events to make church feel "smaller" so that people can get connected. I love the modern contemporary style of worship music, and the current pastor John Miller is an excellent Bible teacher. He is very thorough and doesn't hold any punches. There is a large children's ministry here that does a great job teaching the kids about Jesus, not just entertaining them. Most of all I love the church's vision to help people know God by strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ by teaching the Bible, prayer, worship, communion and fellowship.

This is not the church for you if you are looking for a family friendly environment. We have been coming here on and off for 3 years and unfortunately, over the last year it has gone downhill. We are a young family with a 6 month old and were happy to have made it to church this Easter, the first time we have been back since our daughter was born. We were planning on sitting in the back of the sanctuary in case our little one started crying or got too loud. We had no desire to leave her in the nursery as we don't know the ladies running it and have never left her with anyone but family yet.

As soon as the ushers saw us they said "oh....a small baby. Can you sit in the back here?" That's a reasonable request, and we were planning to anyway, but the manner in which they asked was almost rude. 10 minutes into the sermon, my little one started "talking", so my husband immediately stood up and walked outside with her. As he stood up, one of the ushers next to us patted him on the back and said "Thank you, thank you so much" in a very demeaning tone. I wish we could say we'll be back, but this is not the place for us, or any young families wishing to worship together. It was a very unfriendly environment this time around, which is sad. We used to like coming here.

It looks like we need to find a new church home now that we have a child. What happened to Matthew 19:14? ...Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

  • I love this Church! Pastor John is hilarious. He delivers God's Holy word with honesty, passion and compassion. My husband and I have been attending Revival for almost 3 years and love it! Their Children's ministry is amazing. I hear my 5 year old sharing Gods word with her friends and cousins (future evangelist!) and feel so blessed that she is growing up knowing the Lord. I don't remember feeling like I was joining a cult when I first started attending and I have invited several friends and family and have never heard that feedback. Anyway, I give this church 5 stars, it has helped me grow tremendously in my faith.

  • I have been attending this church for more than a year now. It's very family oriented, people are friendly and Pastor John Miller and other pastors are great. Before I found this church, Ive been struggling a lot with my relationship with my family, my husband and my work. I was at the edge of divorcing my husband and I was really down, I don't now what to do. How sad it is for a mother like me to hear from her child that they don't believe in God. It torn me apart. I need strength and I cannot find a church that will help me grow spiritually and help my kids to have faith in God. One time my sister told me to try Revival and said that my kids will like it because they have Sunday bible school. I'm hearing a lot of negative things about this church before but then it is not the people or the church that matters. What matters most is our relationship with God and for my kids to know more about God. I've been to different Christian fellowship in my area but I need more than a church. Revival got a phone app that I can listen to sermons over and over again which is very helpful for me to grow spiritually. This church is a blessing for me and my family. And how happy I am after few weeks of attending Sunday bible school...my kids told me that they now believe in God.

  • Awesome church! I've been a Christian since late 70's and been to some great churches. When we moved to the Murrieta area about 7 years ago we prayed for a church like this. When John Miller became the pastor, I knew his passion for God's word was very evident. It's the best bible teaching to learn from as there is no deviation from the bible, yet delivered in such a way, that is relevant to our current time. Great kids programs and being a grandmother that is important to me. My husband is ill and can't attend anymore, however, he can watch the service live on revivaltv! That is a true blessing for sure! Love worship teams being lead by Joel & Gabe for some variety. Both are spirit led and teams are very talented. Pastor John is a solid teacher of the bible, with humor and humbleness. Welcome everyone, you will love it. Don't listen to the negative guy's review that is so off with nothing but bad intentions. Try it and make your own assessment. I'm not good at short posts! sorry!
